The outside gets crispy and caramelized, while the inside stays juicy. Itβs perfect for sandwiches, sliders, or served with your favorite sides!
Ingredients
1 fully cooked boneless ham (4β5 pounds)
ΒΌ cup yellow or Dijon mustard
Β½ cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon black pepper
Β½ teaspoon garlic powder
Wood chips (apple, hickory, or cherry for smoking)
Directions
- Preheat your smoker to 225Β°F (107Β°C).
- Pat the ham dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix mustard, brown sugar, paprika, pepper, and garlic powder to make a paste.
- Rub the mixture all over the ham, coating it evenly.
- Place the ham directly on the smoker grate.
- Smoke for 4β6 hours, or until the ham reaches an internal temp of 190Β°F (88Β°C) for pulling.
- Remove from smoker and let it rest for 20 minutes.
- Shred the ham using two forks or meat claws.
- Serve on buns, in wraps, or with barbecue sauce!

Notes
- You can use a bone-in ham, but it may take longer to cook.
Add a pan of water in the smoker to keep the ham moist.
