½ cup brown sugar
Optional: 1–2 tablespoons maple syrup or chili powder for extra flavor

- Sprinkle brown sugar generously over the top of each one.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes or until bacon is crispy and sugar is bubbly.

Notes
- You can prepare them ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to bake.
For extra flavor, drizzle with maple syrup before baking or add a pinch of cayenne pepper for heat.
Use thick-cut bacon if you want them meatier, but they may take a few extra minutes to crisp.
Great for serving with toothpicks straight from the baking tray or in a slow cooker on “warm.”
