Ingredients
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)
Β½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra flavor)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 eggs, beaten
Β½ cup flour
Cooking oil spray or a few tablespoons of oil (for baking or pan-frying)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C) or heat oil in a skillet for pan-frying.
- Set up 3 bowls: flour in one, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in the third.
- Coat each chicken piece: first in flour, then egg, then breadcrumb mix.
- Place nuggets on a baking sheet lined with parchment or foil and lightly spray with oil.
OR pan-fry in hot oil until golden and cooked through, about 3β4 minutes per side. - Bake for 20β25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve hot with ketchup, honey mustard, ranch, or your favorite dipping sauce!
