Smoked Pulled Ham is a delicious and easy way to enjoy ham with a deep smoky flavor. It’s made by slowly smoking a boneless ham until it’s tender enough to pull apart with a fork. The outside gets crispy and caramelized, while the inside stays juicy. It’s perfect for sandwiches, sliders, or served with your favorite sides!

Ingredients

  • 1 fully cooked boneless ham (4–5 pounds)

  • ΒΌ cup yellow or Dijon mustard

  • Β½ cup brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • Β½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • Wood chips (apple, hickory, or cherry for smoking)

Directions

  • Preheat your smoker to 225Β°F (107Β°C).
  • Pat the ham dry with paper towels.
  • In a small bowl, mix mustard, brown sugar, paprika, pepper, and garlic powder to make a paste.
  • Rub the mixture all over the ham, coating it evenly.
  • Place the ham directly on the smoker grate.
  • Smoke for 4–6 hours, or until the ham reaches an internal temp of 190Β°F (88Β°C) for pulling.
  • Remove from smoker and let it rest for 20 minutes.
  • Shred the ham using two forks or meat claws.
  • Serve on buns, in wraps, or with barbecue sauce!

Notes

  • You can use a bone-in ham, but it may take longer to cook.
    Add a pan of water in the smoker to keep the ham moist.
    Great for leftovers β€” freeze extras for later!
    Toss with your favorite BBQ sauce for added flavor.
